Terra Vegetable Chips: Thai Basil Curry

All you Terra Chips lovers out there, I have got something new to tempt you with. My sister saw this big bag of Thai Basil Curry chips at Costco and decided to fly a bag to Singapore for us to try. I am very much indebted to her because it is one of the best chips I have ever tasted.

If you are unable to see the words on the back of the bag clearly, they read:
Step into a culinary word of exotic flavor with NEW TERRA Thai Basil. Inspired by centuries of tradition and culture, TERRA is proud to present a blend of root vegetables featuring purpose sweet potato and kabocha squash along with our classic sweet potato, batata and taro root. We then combine a cornucopia of flavorful spices and subtle accents to please even the most discerning chip connoisseur. Savor the sweet delicacy of Thai seasoning as it meets a vibrant dash of basil in a savory curry. We'll bring the chips; you bring the taste buds. Take a break from the ordinary and step into a new world of artisanal flavor - by experiencing Thai Basil by TERRA.

Pictures of the types of chips in the bag

I did not take a picture of the chips in the bag, but if you want to know what they look like, they look like the chips on the bag below. The lovely vibrant colours are for real.

Taste-wise, have you have had Curry Twisties? The curry part of Terra's Thai Basil chips tasted similar to that, but on the whole the chips were far superior. Besides curry, the basil, garlic, onion, tumeric and paprika created a beautiful medley of flavour in my mouth. And as you know, the salty-sweet combination caused by the combination of salt with the naturally sweet root vegetables is always a winner.

It is not selling in Singapore, so if somehow you get the opportunity to get your hands on it from the US, get your hands on it. I assure you, you will be in for a grand tasty treat!
